Trinean DropSense-96 Multichannel Spectrophotometer
Protein quantification doesn't have to slow you down!
The Trinean DropSense-96 is the first µl microplate reader giving full spectrum scans of 96 samples in under six minutes. The DropSense-96 allows high-throughput DNA/RNA/protein quantification while eliminating the need for sample dilution and cleaning in between scans.
Microfluidic chips (DropPlate-16) are loaded with samples and the chips are placed into the DropSense-96 (as many as 6 at once). When samples are in the DropPlates, they are safe at room temperature, without the risk of evaporation.
DropPlate-16 Microfluidic Chip
Features:
-UV-VIS full-spectrum measurements (220-750nm)
-Large dynamic range (5-3,800ng/µl dsDNA)
-96-format droplet quantification (DropPlate 96)
-Unique patented optical spectrometer design combines
cylindrical lenses with integrated optical elements, high
resolution gratings and ultrasensitive photodiode array

Read what our customers are saying about the Trinean DropSense-96!
"In February of 2010 we received our Trinean DropSense96 and it basically changed our lives. Prior to the DropSense, we were performing DNA/RNA quantifications with a low-throughput instrument that was labor-intensive and only capable of one spectrophotometer reading. Being a genomics core facility, we take on projects that require thousands of readings. Needless to say, sample quantifications could take weeks. We had been looking for a high-throughput, low-volume spectrophotometer for years so when I saw the ad for this instrument I knew we had to have it. From the day of install we were off and running. The instrument is extremely easy to operate and the software is very user friendly. Validation tests proved the DropSense to be both highly accurate and reproducible. We can now quantify thousands of samples in one day rather than weeks, ultimately allowing us to take on more projects and get the results to our customers much quicker."
